Pure Room Rates
Wyndham Miami is pleased to extend a PURE Room rate to the Romance Slam Jam. The PURE system is the most comprehensive improved air quality system in the hospitality industry today. Using proven processes, the hotel offers guests an environment where the surfaces are treated to minimize contaminants and irritants as well as offer improved air quality. The bedding, carpeting, wall, furniture and air handling units in each PURE room is specially treated to eliminate contaminants and irritants. In addition, an air purification system is installed in each room to continuously circulate and filter the air creating much improved air quality. Guests wishing to book a PURE room will need to specify their request upon reserving.

Please note: The above quoted room rates are also subject to any applicable city, county, state or federal taxes, any and all applicable resort fees or other Hotel imposed fees that may apply at the time of room occupancy. Currently, the tax rate is 13%.

There are two convenient ways to make your reservation:

  • The group code is provided for you at the bottom of the form you’ll fill out. If for some reason it is missing, it’s: 0409394RSJ

Whether reserving by phone or online:

• Check in : April, 9, 2010 (the special rate starts April 7)

• Check out: April, 10, 2010

• A credit card will be required to hold the room, but will not be charged at this time

• Be sure to save your confirmation number

• You may cancel your reservation up 5 April, 2010 and your card will not be charged

Hotel Parking
Parking is available to hotel guests at the following costs:

• Self Overnight $11.00

• Self Park Visitor $9.00 (Day Rate)

• Valet Overnight $13.00

• Valet Visitor $12.00 (Day Rate)

IMPORTANT NOTE ON PARKING: If you plan to leave your car a few days, it is less expensive to park at United Airport Parking.

 

Just select Wyndham Miami Airport. When checked on 5 Aug, 2009, the the price of parking there from April 9 - April 16 2010 was only $28.00.

Airports

We suggest you fly into Miami International Airport. The Wyndham provides
complimentary Shuttle Service to/from Miami International Airport.

Transportation to Carnival Pier

Wyndham has a shuttle that will take you to the Carnival pier for $10 (but seats on the hotel shuttle are not guaranteed). The RSJ is also arranging busses to take our attendees to the Carnival pier. The cost of the RSJ busses is $10 and this includes the driver's tip. There are 100 seats on the RSJ busses that will be assigned first come first serve. Currently, there are seats available, but please do not delay.

 

Please note, transportation back to your destination after the cruise has not been arranged by the RSJ committee. Don't worry, there are always numerous taxis at the pier.

 

For transportation to the pier on one of the RSJ busses, please make money orders or cashier's checks out to Romance Slam Jam and mail it to the below address and be sure to include a note with who you are reserving a seat for.
