Passion 4 Reading was founded July 15, 2002 by J’me Adams, Passion 4 Reading is for readers that have just that, a passion for reading. Passion 4 Reading is more than just another online book club, but one big family brought together by the literary ties that bind. That bond is through avid readers, authors, literary agents, publicist with one common goal, BOOKS. Passion 4 Reading focus is books first, however we dedicate different days to stimulate discussions outside of reading, Off Topic Tuesday, What's on your Mind Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and Finally it's Friday.

P4R is successful, because of the two of the best moderators whom are beyond fabulous, Brandy Mays of Dallas Texas and Paula Henderson of Little Rock, AK. Next to my moderators, we have a great group of members from all over. J’me Adams is a resident of Inglewood, CA. J’me is a mother of two lovely kids Tyren, 12 and Jai’Lynn, 8. J’me is an Accounts Payable Coordinator for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Next to her Passion 4 Reading, her first passion is her love for the music group New Edition. J’me has been a die hard for over 24 years.

My name is Darrylon "Nickie" Evans. I am a Preschool teacher for L.A..U.S.D. (for the past ten years) and I love teaching! I am currently working on a Masters in Behavioral Psychology. I am married and the mother of four. In my spare time I enjoy reading urban books (good, juicy books). By joining Passion 4 Reading, I had the opportunity to speak with others from everywhere. I love being a member of P4R!

HOST AUTHORS 

Jackie Hamilton is one half of the award-winning writing team of J.M. Jeffries. Jackie is full of enthusiasm and for everything she does. Before deciding to write, Jackie had her sights set on being a lawyer. But events turned her down a different path. Today, Jackie works in a bookstore which she considers her dream job. She gets to read everything before it hits the shelves. Jackie’s free time is spent reading, trying to organize her huge library and playing with her two boisterous dogs.

Kelley Vitollo is the president of the Wild Women Readers and writes under the name of Kelley Nyrae. A resident of Corona, Kelley is an avid reader which led her to the next level of writing. Kelley is married and the mother of two children. When she isn’t writing or reading, she’s busy holding live chats, writing blogs and being a mom. Miriam Pace comprises the second half of the prolific writing team of J.M. Jeffries. Miriam has always loved to read. Her first sales (and rejections) came in high school which inspired her to keep on writing. She started her career writing under her own name, switched to J.M. Jeffries after teaming with Jackie. Miriam makes her home in Mira Loma, CA with a very loud cat, a very quiet cat, and occasional stray birds and lizards.
