Romance Slam Jam 2009

As you all know the Slam Jam L.A. 09 is approaching.  We have some really wonderful talent authors giving us their time and expertise for workshops and intimate sessions.  Here is a taste of what you have in store.  I hope that all the readers and writers who attend will show their appreciation by attending some of these sessions. 

L.A. Banks is our fabulous Keynote Speaker and is doing a workshop on Using the Five Senses.

Gwen Forrester, Rochelle Alers, AlTonya Washington, Natalie Dunbar and Seressia Glass will all be giving Intimate Sessions. 

Donna Hill will be doing a workshop on Point of View and how to use to fuel your character and drive the story forward

Marilyn Tyner and Alice Wootson workshop is Plot vs. Character.   An informative workshop that will explore how each one is vital to a story and how to use it.

Karen White Owens workshop is The Dreaded Synopsis and how to wow an editor.

Kayla Perrin and agent Helen Breitwieser of the Cornerstone Literary Agent will do a workshop on the author editor relationship.

Barbara Keaton is doing a workshop on Writing with Passion and how writers still need to have fun writing.

Radio talk show host Ella Curry of EDC Creations is doing a workshop on Promoting on the Internet. 

Bridget Midway aka Crystal Bright, Eve Vaughn and Parker Publishing Editor Kym Reed will be giving a workshop on Writing and Marketing the Interracial Romance

Earl Sewell is giving a workshop on Breaking into the Young Adult Market.
