Panel Discussions and Workshops: Talk about the hottest topics in the literary field and learn the ins and outs to the publishing industry. For aspiring authors, authors and readers.

Agent/Editor Pitches: This is your chance to meet and pitch your project to publishing industry professionals who can get you were you want to go.

Keynote: National Best-selling author Adrianne Byrd has always preferred to live within the realms of her imagination where all the men are gorgeous and the women are worth whatever trouble they manage to get into. Ms. Byrd has been featured in many national publications, including Today’s Black Woman, Upscale, and Heart and Soul and had numerous awards.

Book Signing: This Mega-Signing is brought to you by Barns and Noble in partnership with the Romance Slam Jam Authors. We encourage you to bring titles you’ve collected over the years to the event and have them signed by the attending authors.

Emma Awards: Named after the co-founder of the Romance Slam Jam, the Emma Awards is the premier awards event for readers and authors of Black romance. Formal attire is not required, but this is the one event we ask you to dress up. 

Pass The Torch: We bring another Romance Slam Jam to an end, but we will see each other again. The RSJ torch will be passed to our next host city.
