Their mission is to broaden their literary experience by reading books written by authors of African American descent, meeting the authors that wrote them and building lifelong relationships. A.C. Arthur was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. Writing for her began as a secret passion as she read more and more of her mother’s romance novels.
